Name: frostglade. Age: thirty-two moons. Gender: female. Hierarchy: warrior. Clan: creek.
Description: when you see frostglade from afar, she looks like any other cat. She looks like an average joe, but when you come up close, you can tell that she is actually very pretty. her fur isn't long, silky, and smooth. it's short, soft, and, well, neat. her resemblance to a tiger is vague, but just present enough to turn heads. bold, vertical stripes stretch themselves along the length of her body, starting at the spine to bleed evenly down the sides. unlike her feline ancestors, however, her coloring lacks vibrant hues, instead dimming to a soft, calm palette of gray. she is soaked in these tones from head to toe, minus, of course, her eyes.
her eyes seem to sparkle with joy, even when she's feeling upset. Joy is probably the only thing you'll find in her eyes, since she doesn't show any other emotion lightly. they're a deep, full yellow, mixed only with it's hues. it get slightly darker around the iris, but other than that, stays the same hue. they are fairly small, and are a perfect circle placed upon her head. place almost smackjaw in the middle of her forehead, her anatomy is perfect.
her body just screams creekclan, and all that swimming has made a huge improvement on her muscles. from a scrawny apprentice to a muscular warrior, much has changed since her youth. her paws are tiny, even for a female, but she doesn't mind having dainty paws. she is, in fact, a tiny feline, but don't let that fool you - she isn't weak. (it almost looks like she is wearing black socks on her back feet.) moving on to her tail, well, it's something special. it's not that long, but the end of it is black, and has a slight curve to it that never goes away.
(you can skip this paragraph if you want, it's fluff) from one look you can tell that she was built for swimming. in fact, it's one of her favourite things to do. from her lean body down to her sharp claws, she was made for the water. she has a good amount of agility in her, which helps her dodge incoming attacks faster. you'd think, since she is pretty, that she'd be like a cheerleader in high-school; snooty and mean, but that's not the case. at all.
Personality:frostglade couldn't care less whether or not you liked her. in fact, she couldn't care what you thought of her. she knows who she is, and that's all she really cares about. if you question her loyalty, then you'll probably end up missing a tail the next day. she is a die-hard loyal cat to creekclan, and has never even talked to cats of other clans, or of no clans. she knows there is a possibility that love might sneak up on her and make her fall for the wrong person, but she's made it a mission to make sure that it never happens.
she isn't one of those she-cats who clings to you, or follows you around, wanting to talk. she is an independent feline, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't like her friends. she loves to hang out with them, but she'd rather do thing like hunt, and taking a walk, alone. she is also headstrong, and does things before she thinks. there are times when she'll plan ahead, but she doesn't like to. she lives in the moment, and planning ahead seems like a silly concept to her. if she were leader, then they'd probably rush into battle without a plan. she doesn't like to be kept waiting.
even though she's never fallen in love, she's a hopeless romantic. she loves the aspect of staying together with one person forever, and raising a family. she likes thinking about walking in the moonlight with that special someone, and when she crushes, fantasizes like crazy.
something that is made very clear, very often, is that she has a short fuse. when it blows, it will be awful. she doesn't like to be left out of things, and will get upset if she is. having a short fuse ties into the fact that she can't take a joke, and will get very upset if you tease her about something. whether it be something she did in the past, or if she stuttered, she'll become very angry and blow up in your face. she doesn't care who she does it to, either. (mmm, she's great at parties. and it's just oh so fun to watch her stand up to the leaders at gatherings.)
Past: frostkit was born into a normal family in creekclan. her parents weren't overly loving, nor were they total stones. they loved and cared for their kits, but they also couldn't wait for them to get out of the nursery. the eldest kit was frostkit, followed by earthkit. earthkit was the runt of the litter, and was very tiny. frostkit, even when she couldn't see, would waddle over to her sister and stand infront of her, trying to protect the bundle of fur from the other kits. there was another kit a few moons older than them; firekit.
when they got a little bit older, she continued to do this, both out of her protective instinct, and to annoy her. there were never two cats as close as frostkit and earthkit were. firekit was jealous of the sisters, but he never told anybody. frostglade, as a kit, hated to be alone, and would whine whenever her parents left her. they hoped that she would grow out of it, and she did. the only other cat she could be alone with was earthkit - she hated to be alone with firekit, since he bullied her.
one day the tomcat came up to her when she was with her friends, and started to verbally abuse her. she tried to ignore him, but she eventually got angry, and snapped back. ever since then the two have been extremely violent toward each other, while earthkit tried to stay out of it.
her mentor was a tomcat named alderfang. he wasn't the type of cat that you could find walking around camp befriending everyone he could. he was reserved, cold, and would get angry quickly. frostpaw was afraid of him, but she never showed it. he pushed her harder than she had ever been pushed before, and there were a lot of times when she wanted to quit, but he didn't let her. even though she acted like she hated him, the young apprentice had feelings for the tomcat. she looked up to him like a big brother, which made firepaw jealous.
eventually, when the apprentices were all twelve moons, firepaw lashed out during training at alderfang. alderfang, being thirty moons at the time and much more expirienced, beat the tomcat, but not before leaving him with a nice gash in the side of his flank. he was torn with guilt that he did that to an apprentice, but everyone said he didn't have to be - that he edged him on. frostpaw told him that it was firepaw's fault, and that he shouldn't feel bad.
when they got they're named, there were dubbed frostglade, earthfang, and fireclaw. they also got their names with another apprentice, now goldentail.
Role-Play Sample: the cedar tomcat looked around in annoyance. they should have, at the very least, found something, but no. it wasn't even that cold out, so they shouldn't be hiding. cedarclaw clawed at the earth in sheer annoyance, knowing that it wouldn't do any good. "..." a string of curses and foul words came out of his mouth as he ranted about it quietly to himself. he knew that it wouldn't do any good to complain about it, and that he should just stop it, but of course that isn't what he did. he just continued to go on and on about how the weather was unfair.
after a good ten minutes of complaining he decided to ignore it and go on with his life. grumbling as he walked away from the sandy hollow, he shook his head back and forth. "hmph." he puffed, looking at his paws as he walked. anyone around could see that he was in a foul mood, and he was praying that nobody would be around to see him like this. well, at least until he felt better. a thought went through his mind; what if someone had seen his episode? ah, embarrassing.
meh, but who cared what others would think of him? there were only two cats of whose opinion he cared about, and those were adderstar and feathercloud. his heart still ached for adderstar; and for the family of nectarwind. she was so young, so ready to experience the world, but the chance was taken away from her. anger boiled up in his paws as he thought of the beast that dared not show it's face. edward cullen what if it took away an apprentice, or a kit, even?
he was scared.
scared for himself, and for his clan.
that's when he realized he should be training his apprentice. what if she was taken from him - because he didn't train her enough? he shook his head, trying to rid of the thoughts. he started to walk back to camp, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. nothing was out of the ordinary, but that was probably when the beast struck. cedarclaw hadn't noticed that he began to shiver, and once he did, he managed to calm himself a little.
once he was back in camp he poked his head inside the apprentices den. he looked around for shatteredpaw, but to his annoyance, did not find her. he shrugged and looked around camp. he found her talking to another apprentice. his heart went out to her - she was so happy, it was hard to think about what her parents did to her. he padded up to her with a soft grin on his face. "shatteredpaw, let's go train." he looked to the other apprentice with a sheepish grin. "sorry to take her from you," he meowed.
once they were out of camp, they walked to the sycamore trees. he wanted to teach her to fight, but he wanted to give her a choice. "now, would you like to hunt, or fight?" he asked, sitting down and waiting patiently for an answer.
